Find the perfect tutor for your child.

Every tutor is DBS-checked, interviewed by our schools staffing team, and teaches in recorded online sessions that fit around school. You choose the tutor. We make sure they’re safe.

Vetted & safeguarded

Safeguarding is the whole point of this platform.

We come from schools staffing, where vetting is non-negotiable. We built this platform the same way.

Read our full safeguarding policy
  • Enhanced DBS, every tutor

Every tutor on the platform holds an enhanced DBS check. We don't make exceptions or allow grace periods.

  • Interviewed before they teach

Our schools staffing team interviews every tutor before they take a single session. They are the same people who place staff in UK schools.

  • Every session recorded

Sessions are recorded and retained for safeguarding review, so there is always a record of what happened in a lesson.

  • Continuously monitored

Vetting isn't a one-off. If a tutor's clearance lapses, they come off the platform immediately.

Three steps to the first session

See how it works in detail
  1. Find a tutor, or let us ask around

Browse tutors by subject and level, from primary maths to A-Level physics, and see each one's hourly price on their profile. Or answer a few questions about your child and we'll put the session to the tutors who teach it and are free at that time.

  2. Request a time

Pick a one-off slot or the same time each week. The tutor confirms, and a session nobody has confirmed is never charged for.

  3. Learn

Your child joins the session in the browser. There is nothing to install or configure.

Inside the platform

What you get with every session

The tools your child uses in the lesson, what you can see afterwards, and what we tell you along the way.

  • See what has been checked, tutor by tutor

Each profile lists the clearances we hold for that person: enhanced DBS, identity, references, safeguarding training. A badge only appears once somebody here has seen the evidence and recorded the decision.

  • One lesson, or the same slot every week

Book a single session, or a repeating one weekly, fortnightly or monthly. If your tutor isn't free one week we skip that week and tell you, rather than moving your child's lesson to a time you didn't choose.

  • Tell us about your child once

Say what they're finding hard and where they need to get to. Their tutor reads it before every session, so you're not starting again each lesson. We hold a first name and a year group: no surname, no date of birth, no address.

  • A whiteboard they both draw on

Tutor and child work on the same board during the lesson, and it updates for both of them as they write. The tutor can share their screen too. Whatever is on the board at the end is saved to the session.

  • Watch the lesson back

Every session is recorded. Once it has finished, it plays on that session's page in your account. Only you and our safeguarding team can watch it, never the tutor, and there is nothing on the page to download or forward.

  • You're told what's happening

A reminder two days before the session, the join link as soon as the room opens, and a receipt when the payment goes through. It's all on your sessions page as well, so nothing depends on finding an email.

Honest pricing, set by tutors

We don't do tiers, bundles or memberships. You pay the price on your tutor's profile, for the sessions you book.

One price, shown before you ask

Each tutor's hourly price is set out on their profile, VAT included, with nothing added to it later. You see it before you request a session, and it doesn't change afterwards.

Nothing charged for an unconfirmed session

A tutor has to confirm before anything is taken. The payment for a confirmed session is taken at midday, two days before the session, not on the day you book it.

No subscription, no joining fee

You pay per session. There's no subscription to join and no contract to cancel.

Fair cancellation

Plans change. Cancel 24 hours ahead of a session and you get a full refund.

Questions parents ask us

How are tutors vetted?
Every tutor holds an enhanced DBS check and is interviewed by our schools staffing team before they teach. Vetting is continuously monitored. If a clearance lapses, the tutor comes off the platform immediately.
Why are sessions recorded, and who can view them?
Every session is recorded and retained for safeguarding review, so that if a concern is ever raised there is a clear record of what happened in the lesson. You can watch your own child's sessions back from your account once they have finished. Tutors cannot watch them, other families cannot, and they are not public.
How much does tutoring cost?
Each tutor's hourly price is shown on their profile, VAT included. You see it before you request a session, and there is no subscription or joining fee.
When is my card actually charged?
Not on the day you book. We reserve the amount on your card a few days before the session and take the payment at midday, two days before the session. A tutor has to have confirmed the session for it to be charged at all: if the offer lapses unanswered, the reservation is released and you pay nothing.
What if I need to cancel a session?
Cancel 24 hours or more before the session starts and you receive a full refund.
What happens if a tutor can't make a session?
You never pay for a session that doesn't happen. If a tutor cancels, you're refunded in full and can request another time.
Are sessions online only?
Yes, all tutoring is online for now. Sessions run in the browser, so there's nothing to install.
What ages and levels do you cover?
Tutors cover primary through to A-Level, including 11+ preparation, KS3 and GCSE, across maths, English, the sciences and languages.
